Wahpeton man sentenced for stabbing

WAHPETON, N.D. (AP) — A 24-year-old Wahpeton man has been sentenced to serve 15 years in prison for stabbing his neighbor last October.

WAHPETON, N.D. (AP) — A 24-year-old Wahpeton man has been sentenced to serve 15 years in prison for stabbing his neighbor last October.

The Forum newspaper reports (http://bit.ly/KsxEIb ) that Patrick Wolfgram was sentenced to a 20-year prison term, with five years suspended. He also was given credit for 229 days he has already served in jail.

Wolfgram was charged with attempted murder for stabbing a 26-year-old woman several times in the head, neck and back as she smoked a cigarette outside an apartment building on Oct. 14. He pleaded guilty in April.
