FCCU awards several scholarships
Lea Johnson and Patrick Lane of Jamestown are each recipients of a $1,000 scholarship from First Community Credit Union. Their proven ability to achieve academic excellence and wide involvement in extracurricular activities has enabled them to achieve this accomplishment.
Lea Johnson and Patrick Lane of Jamestown are each recipients of a $1,000 scholarship from First Community Credit Union. Their proven ability to achieve academic excellence and wide involvement in extracurricular activities has enabled them to achieve this accomplishment.
Johnson is the daughter of Paul and Terri Johnson and plans to attend Butler University in the fall.
Lane is the son of Gary and Ingrid Lane and plans to attend Texas A&M in the fall.
This is the 16th year that the First Community Credit Union Board of Directors has awarded scholarships to first year college students from its membership. FCCU gives out 10 $1000 scholarships each year to members who demonstrate outstanding academic and extracurricular involvement.
The following students will also be receiving a scholarship toward their college academia: London Lloyd and Lauren Groth, both of Valley City, Cassandra Torrance and Kevin Gregoire, both of Wahpeton, Matt Hockert of Fargo, Alexandra Mills of Oakes, Jennifer Aichele of Steele and Amber Bilben of Hankinson.
