Hillcrest men hold weekly events
The Hillcrest Men’s Golf Association held its weekly events Thursday. Closest-to-the-hole winners were Merle Weatherly (9 feet, 5 inches on No. 7), Dennis Weixel (11-8, No. 8), Gary Speidel (15-0, No. 15) and Mike Cumber (2-10 on No. 17).

Dave Azure made the longest putt on No. 4 (32-8), while Ryan Fischer had the closest second shot on No. 13 (3-3 1/2). Vern Harr won the door prize.
