Kite Fest to be held on Saturday

Kite Fest is from 10:30 a.m.to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in Meidinger Park addition, 17th Avenue and 17th Street Southwest. Team 180GO will make special appearances. Kite building is planned.

Concessions, T-shirts and kites will be sold. There will be DJ music and a kite building class while supplies last.

Also on site will be an air games festival, sponsored by Victory Lutheran Church.
