Caitlin Charlebois of Bigfork, Mont., has signed to compete in track and field and basketball at Jamestown College.

Charlebois was a successful three-sport athlete in high school, also participating in soccer, but took a year off from school and athletics this past year.

She placed second in the pole vault in the Montana State B track meet in 2011 by clearing 9-feet, 6-inches. She also competed in the 400 relay and javelin.

Charlebois earned all-state honors in basketball as a junior and senior, averaging 15 points to go along with 93 steals and 62 assists.

“Caitlin is a very talented young lady,” Jimmie women’s track and field coach Jim Clark said. “It will be fun to watch her perform for the Jimmie basketball team before she joins the track and field team, where she can help the team in several ways.

“Caitlin has an engaging personality that should help her to fit in well as a student and as a two-sport athlete. We welcome her to the Jimmie athletic program.”

The daughter of Mary and Todd Charlebois of Bigfork, Mont., she plans to study business management at Jamestown College.
