Inspection to determine fate of ND armory

The Richland County Commission has voted to hire an engineer to determine the structural integrity of the historic armory in Wahpeton.

WAHPETON, N.D. (AP) — The Richland County Commission has voted to hire an engineer to determine the structural integrity of the historic armory in Wahpeton.

The Wahpeton Daily News reports that the outcome of the assessment could decide whether the building will be resurrected or condemned.

The inspection is slated to cost between $1,500 and $3,000.
