Damage reported in two-car crash

More than $5,000 in damage was reported in a Wednesday car accident, according to the Jamestown Police Department.
The accident happened around 12:45 p.m. at the intersection of First Avenue North and Third Street Northwest.
Gail Riedinger, 40, 1400 10th Ave. NE #113, was driving a 2006 Dodge eastbound on Third Street approaching the intersection.
Laura Hochhalter, 77, 914 11th Ave. NE #8, was driving a 2000 General Motors southbound on First Avenue approaching the intersection.
Riedinger entered the intersection and struck Hochhalter, the report said.
Hochhalter claimed a possible injury and Jamestown Ambulance came to the scene but she was not transported to a medical facility.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
There was an estimated $4,000 in damage to the Dodge and an estimated $1,500 to the General Motors.
Hochhalter was cited for disobey traffic control device.
