Yard of the Week begins in Jamestown

The Yard of the Week program is starting for the summer. The program, sponsored by the Jamestown Chamber of Commerce, runs through Oct. 1. The Yard of the Week program recognizes those within the community who take pride in the appearance of their yard and do their part to beautify the community. Yards will be selected each week from nominations received.

The Yard of the Week program is starting for the summer. The program, sponsored by the Jamestown Chamber of Commerce, runs through Oct. 1.

The Yard of the Week program recognizes those within the community who take pride in the appearance of their yard and do their part to beautify the community. Yards will be selected each week from nominations received. Yards must be visible from the street. To nominate a yard for Yard of the Week:

*Email a nomination to the chamber at chamber@jamestownchamber.com

*Visit the chamber’s website at www.jamestownchamber.com

*Personally visit or write the chamber at 120 Second St. SE

*Enter the nomination at the drop box at the White Drug Garden Center (410 10th St. SE), Don’s Garden Center (1602 Business Loop E.) or Country Gardens Floral/Greenhouse (106 Business Loop W.), Hugo’s, Coborn’s or Don’s House of Flower’s.

All single family residences within Jamestown are eligible for the program.
