North Dakota-made food and gift items are the foundation of this store. Patrons will find items made in North Dakota such as chokecherry jelly, bison sausage, apple horseradish, barbeque sauces and several types of salsa, to name a few. The gift line includes handmade baskets, lotions and soaps, North Dakota photography, notecards and magnets, mugs, pottery and books and cookbooks. Sixty-three Pride of Dakota companies are currently featured. Visit the RSVP Dakota Store Facebook page.
The RSVP Dakota Store is operated by volunteers and managed by the RSVP program coordinator, Deb Lee. Revenue from the store supports almost 600 volunteers in McIntosh, Dickey, LaMoure, Logan, Stutsman, Foster, Kidder and Wells counties. The volunteers serve in their communities at non-profits, government agencies, schools and churches and fill a critical community need. For more information about the RSVP Dakota Store, call Lee at 252-2882.
