Jamestown Public Schools enacted a bullying policy to meet the law required by the Legislature. That’s not the same case for some schools in smaller communities near Jamestown.
Edgeley, Fort Ransom, Kensal, LaMoure, Linton, Lisbon and North Sargent all have not sent a copy of a bullying policy to the North Dakota Department of Public Instruction.
Locally, Hillcrest Seven Day Adventist School and St. John’s Academy have also not sent a copy to DPI.
However, many area schools have sent policies, which are required to be sent by July 1.
Ellendale, Gackle/Streeter, Griggs County Central, Kidder County, Litchville-Marrion, Medina, Montpelier, New Rockford/Sheyenne and Oakes have all turned in policies.
