The Tarno Townies got a one-run, four-hit pitching performance from Levi Gaunska to edge the New Rockford Black Sox 2-1 in amateur baseball action on Saturday.
Adam Wieland singled in Jason Falk, who doubled to get in, to score the winning run for the Townies in the bottom of the seventh inning..
In the second game, Cory Anderson pitched a four-hitter, also finishing with two hits and two runs batted in for an 8-0 win. Falk and Kevin Dobson each had a double, and Sam Joseph had a two-run single for the Townies, who play at the Buffalo City Classic next weekend.
