Jamestown Post 14’s shaky start to the season continued on Monday. Post 14 dropped to 1-5 after being swept by Grand Forks at Kraft Field 9-2 and 8-0.

Post 14 dropped to 1-5 after being swept by Grand Forks at Kraft Field 9-2 and 8-0.
Jamestown fell to 1-5 with a trip to Nebraska and the Cornhusker Classic, beginning on Thursday.
Post 14 found hits and runs hard to come by as they were held to 11 hits total.
Danny Fischer and Riley Schafer had two hits in the opener, but Post 14 did not score until the seventh when they trailed 9-0. Tyler Ukestad took the loss.
In the second game, it was scoreless through two innings, but Grand Forks broke through for a pair in the third and followed that with four in the fourth and two more in the fifth.
