French students place in contest

Jamestown Middle School French students won medals and certificates recently when they placed in the National French Contest 2012.

Jamestown Middle School French students won medals and certificates recently when they placed in the National French Contest 2012.

Elise Opp won a fifth-place medal in French 1A in North Dakota.

Sarah MacLeod won a sixth-place medal in Level 1B, Hannah Kapp won a 10th place in French 1A and Abbie Simmons received a certificate for being in the top 20 percent in French 1A.

Their French teacher is Dianne Strand.
