McMillan, Weightman

Ashley McMillan and Travis Weightman, both Bismarck, N.D., announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

Parents of the couple are Jeff and Ruleen McMillan, Wimbledon, N.D., and Bruce and Shirley Weightman, Hazen, N.D.

Ashley’s grandparents are Harlan and Ardis McKenzie, Courtenay, N.D., Shirley McMillan, Wimbledon, and the late Howard McMillan.

Travis’ grandparents are Ed and Ethel Dietz, Sentinel Butte, N.D., and the late Don and Emily Weightman.

Ashley is a 2005 graduate of Wimbledon-Courtenay High School, Wimbledon, and a 2009 graduate of University of Mary, Bismarck, with a bachelor’s degree in communications and business. She is a direct support professional at Housing Industry Training Inc., Mandan, N.D.

Travis is a 2002 graduate of Hazen High School, Hazen, and a 2009 graduate of Bismarck State College, Bismarck, with an associate degree in electronics and telecommunications. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2002 to 2006. He is a staff engineer at Reiten Television Inc., KXMB TV, Bismarck.

A June 23 wedding is planned at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Bismarck, followed by a reception and dance at the Ramkota, Bismarck.
