Anderson named Summit’s top golfer
North Dakota State’s Amy Anderson has been named the Summit League women’s golfer of the year for a league-record third straight year.
FARGO — North Dakota State’s Amy Anderson has been named the Summit League women’s golfer of the year for a league-record third straight year.
In a vote by the league’s 10 coaches, Anderson received the honor for winning her second straight Summit League championship and playing in her third straight NCAA regional tournament.
Anderson, a junior from Oxbow, N.D., tied for 16th at this year’s regional and was selected to the Capital One Academic All-America first team. She won five tournaments for a third straight year and set an NDSU record with a low round of 66 at the Jackrabbit Invitational.
