Public meetings

Meeting to gather input on the James River Feasibility Study, 6 to 8 p.m., Southeast Career and Technical Center, 924 South Seventh St., Oakes. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and James River Joint Water Resource District will give brief opening presentation followed by study overview, information and input.

Buffalo City Tourism Foundation Grant Board, 10:30 a.m., CSi Franklin School.

Special events

Benefit auction and baked potato bar for Gage Seckerson, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., St. John’s Lutheran Church, Jamestown. Cost is $7. Gage, son Kelly and Tricia Seckerson, Jamestown, was five weeks premature with suspected Noonan Syndrome.

Community prevention seminar on scams, fraud and vulnerability for seniors, 10 a.m. to noon, James River Senior and Community Center, 502 10th Ave. SE, Jamestown. There is no charge.

Edgeley125th celebration includes craft booths and food vendors set up and entertainment from 1 to 5 p.m. under the main tent. Also planned are air games for children, two street dances in the evening, entertainment under the main tent starting at 8 p.m.
