Cities’ taxable sales increased $973 million

In the article “Taxable sales up 39 percent in N.D.” on page A6 in Thursday’s Sun, a news release provided incorrect information about the taxable sales and purchases for Bismarck, Fargo, Grand Forks and Minot. It should have read, “These four cities reported taxable sales and purchases of $6.582 billion, an increase of $973 million over 2010.”
