A high-risk sex offender is living in Jamestown, according to the Jamestown Police Department.

Police said Jeremy Scott Lundgdren, 33, is living at 2605 Circle Drive #600 Unit. He is described as a white male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs 206 pounds and has hazel eyes and brown hair.

Lundgren has been assigned a high-risk assessment by the North Dakota Risk Level Committee through the North Dakota Attorney General’s Office.

He was convicted of gross sexual imposition on Oct. 27, 1998, in Burleigh County District Court. Authorities said Lundgren was caught having sex with a 6-year-old girl. He was 19 at the time. He was sentenced to 10 years with six years suspended.

Lundgren is not wanted by police at this time and has served the sentence imposed by the court. The notification is intended for public safety and not to increase fear in the community. The information should also not be used to threaten, assault or intimidate Lundgren. Attempts to harass, intimidate or threaten Lundgren or his family, landlord or employer will be turned over for prosecution.

Printed handouts of Lundgren’s demographics are available at the Jamestown Police Department.
