Thomas Caufield

Thomas Edward Caufield, 56, Jamestown, ND, died peacefully Saturday, June 16, 2012 at his home under the care of hospice.

Tom was born October 25, 1955 in Jamestown, ND the son of William and Mardelle (Wutzke) Caufield. He attended St. John's Academy and Jamestown High School. He was employed for 19 years by Roers Construction. He enjoyed hunting and all outdoor activities.

Tom is survived by his mother, Mardelle Caufield (special friend, Lawrence Dockter), Fargo, ND; life partner, Kathi Seeley, Jamestown; two brothers, Greg (Mary) Caufield, Paonia, CO and Dan Caufield, Jamestown; two sisters, Cindy (Al) Holzkamm, Jamestown and Deborah (Sam) Stoughton, Loveland, CO; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father.

A private butterfly release service celebrating Tom's life will be held by the family.
