The community service chairman for Ave Maria Village and Eventide at Hi-Acres reported serving 58 residents coffee and bars following their afternoon activity in May.

Scholarships were awarded to Chelsee Telken and Ileah Schmuhl.
Delegates for the upcoming state American Legion Auxiliary convention are as follows: Shirley Benson, Eileen Clemens, Joan Deede, Phyliss Denchfield, Irene Finck, Genevive Hoff, Judy Hoyt, Shirley Krapp, Feida Larson, Marva Miska, Delores Rath, Dorothy Speidel and Freda Telken. The combined state convention begins Friday in Jamestown.
Officers for 2012-2013 installed by Past Fourth District President LuWanna Remmick, Jamestown, were President Dorothy Speidel, First Vice President Joan Deede, Second Vice President Freda Telken, Secretary Marva Miska, Treasurer Myrna Ronholm, Historian Phyliss Denchfield and Sergeant at Arms Judy Hoyt.
Krapp and Larson provided cookies for the veterans clinic at Jamestown Regional Medical Center for the month of May. Flags were placed on veterans graves at the local cemetaries by the Phyliss Denchfield family prior to Memorial Day.
