Babe Ruth team places 2nd at tourney

The Jamestown 13-14-year-old Babe Ruth team placed second at the Pizza Corner Classic this weekend in Valley City.

Jamestown topped Steele 6-4 in the first round, led by Tanner Lunzman picking up the win on the hill. Andrew Hornung earned the win on the mound in the semifinals, when Jamestown upended Fargo 14-8. Kindred beat Jamestown 8-1 in the championship game.
