Jamestown 14-u squad splits vs. Fargo North

Nicole Mayland finished 1-for-2 with a double and two runs batted in as the Jamestown 14 and under fastpitch softball team won the nightcap 11-7 to earn a split with Fargo North on Tuesday.

Jamestown’s 11 runs came on just two hits, though a variety of walks were issued. Kadie Anderson earned the win in relief of Mayland. She also went 1-for-2 with two runs scored and a walk.

Jamestown had only three hits in a 6-5 loss to Fargo North in the opener. Anderson suffered the loss, while Torri Kamlitz, Mayland and Meghan Orr each tallied hits.
