Home brewers sought for contest

The Arts Center is calling on home brewers for this year’s Oktoberfest on Sept. 29, at the Stutsman County Fairgrounds.

A new event this year will be the homemade beer contest, where people can vote on their favorite beer from 3 to 5 p.m.

Brewers receive free admission to Oktoberfest, a $30 value. Prizes will be awarded at 5 p.m.

Contestants are asked to bring a gallon or a 12 pack of their homebrew for judging.

Proceeds from Oktoberfest will benefit the Arts Center.
