The Jamestown Hurricanes traveling 9-year-olds baseball team defeated Carrington on the road on Monday by the final of 17-5.
The Jamestown Hurricanes traveling 9-year-olds baseball team defeated Carrington on the road on Monday by the final of 17-5.
The Hurricanes scattered 11 hits over seven innings, en route to pushing its 17 runs across the plate. The team used three pitchers, limiting their opponents to five runs.
The game ended when the Hurricanes’ second baseman caught a hard line drive and doubled off a runner at first base to complete a double play.
With the win, the Hurricanes improved to 1-2 on the season. The team travels to Steele on Friday.
