FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Emergency responders in Fargo are planning an airport disaster exercise.
The mock airliner crash is scheduled Friday morning at Hector International Airport. It is a timed event and responders will be required to transport 60 patients within one hour.
The drill is required by the Federal Aviation Administration and conducted every three years in Fargo.
Groups participating in the event include the Fargo and West Fargo fire departments, North Dakota Air National Guard Fire Department, Fargo Police, F-M Ambulance and the Salvation Army.
