ND Highway 46 construction to start next week

Construction will begin Tuesday on N.D. Highway 46 four miles east of Gackle. Work consists of realignment of roadway due to high water.

During construction speeds will be reduced to 25 mph, flaggers and pilot cars may be present and motorists may have to stop and take turns.

Gravel may also be present on the roadway, traffic will be reduced to one lane; motorists will be required to stop and take turns through the work zone.

A 14-foot width restriction will be in place and trucks will be entering and exiting the roadway.

This projected is expected to be completed in late September.
