Post 14 pounds Mandan to gain split
Jamestown Post 14 gained a split of its doubleheader at Mandan on Thursday night. Post 14 battered Chiefs pitching for 18 runs on a whopping 19 hits in the 18-11 win. Mandan took the opener, 9-7.

Jamestown scored at least two runs in every inning but the fourth and sixth. They had four, four-run innings and led 14-8 after four innings.
Brady Anderson led the Post 14 barrage, going 4-for-5 with four runs scored. Jake Stilwell doubled, tripled and had four RBIs. Kasey Gengler, Riley Schafer, Ben Walz and Tyler Ukestad each chipped in with two hits.
Stilwell started on the mound, but was knocked out early. Ukestad took over in the third and went the rest of the way.
Dwight Mack clubbed a grand slam for Mandan. Parker Harm also went deep.
Jamestown and Mandan turn right around and face each other again on Tuesday, this time at Jack Brown Stadium with first pitch at 5:30 p.m.
