Deadline extended for ND fuel tax refund
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota's Tax Department says eligible consumers have two extra days to request a refund for state taxes that were paid on gasoline and gasohol purchased in 2011.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota's Tax Department says eligible consumers have two extra days to request a refund for state taxes that were paid on gasoline and gasohol purchased in 2011.
Tax Commissioner Cory Fong says the deadline has been extended to July 2 because the traditional deadline falls on a Saturday this year.
Fong says fuel purchased last year to power farm, ranch and industrial equipment that was used off-road may qualify for the refund, which can be up to 22 cents a gallon.
