FARGO (AP) — Fourteen teams of filmmakers have just two days to film a 5-minute movie as the 48 Hour Film Project gets underway.
WDAY television reported that teams were given a specific genre and theme before filming started.
Required elements are a character of a dentist named Melvin or Megan Cashion, the prop of bubble wrap and the line: “I think I just lost my appetite.”
One actress said events like this will only make her a better actress in the future. Cameron Mackenzie of Fargo said she learns more things behind the camera rather than just being out front.
Six judges will select the winner. Movies will be screened at the Fargo Theater on Wednesday.
