New library dedicated to college
A $1.5 million library has been dedicated at Sisseton-Wahpeton College.
AGENCY VILLAGE, S.D. (AP) — A $1.5 million library has been dedicated at Sisseton-Wahpeton College.
The Wowapi Opahi Oyanke library was built mostly with federal money. The 4,600-square-foot facility on the campus in Sisseton will serve as the college library and also house the tribal archives.
Other improvements include a parking lot and sidewalks accessible to the disabled, new landscaping and a brick mural.
