BISMARCK (AP) — Drought-stricken ranchers in Wyoming are looking to other states including North Dakota for grazing land.
North Dakota Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring said he has been contacted by his counterpart in Wyoming about the availability of pasture land for lease in North Dakota.
Ranchers with grassland for rent can call the Wyoming Department of Agriculture at 307-777-7321.
North Dakota Deputy State Veterinarian Beth Carlson said all cattle brought in must meet the state’s health requirements.
