Flags retired
Submitted photo A flag retirement ceremony was held June 14 in Jamestown. Here the flag is cut into segments before retiring it. The stripes are cut off the flag and the union remains intact. The union is the last section of the flag to be retired. There were various Cub Scout packs, Boy Scout troops and Girl Scout troops on hand for the event.
