U-14 team splits with Fargo South

The Jamestown U-14 fastpitch softball team split with Fargo South on Monday, winning Game 2 14-4.

Jamestown drew 13 walks in the win with Morgan Zuck leading the way with three. Torri Kamlitz went 2-for-2 with a double, RBI and two runs scored. Kadie Anderson had a single and two RBIs, while Jadee Lange tripled. Anderson, Sam Johnson, Zuck and Samantha Hatlewick each scored twice.

Paige Christ allowed three hits over four innings to get the win on the mound as they improved their record to 2-4 overall.

Fargo South won the opener, 18-12.

Jamestown had more hits, 8-7. Johnson and Anderson each had 2-hit games to lead the way. Zuck had a team-best three RBIs. Meghan Orr, Anderson, Johnson, Lange and Zuck each scored twice.
