U12 softball team drops two to Kindred

The Jamestown 12U softball team dropped a pair of games to Kindred Tuesday night.

The Jamestown 12U softball team dropped a pair of games to Kindred Tuesday night.

In the opener, Morgan Well had both Jamestown hits as they fell 13-11. Olivia Nihill scored three runs, while Jade Schafer, Well and Molly Fritz scored twice. Courtney Peterson and Sydney Soulis also scored. Chloe Crabtree pitched and took the loss.

Crabtree and Schafer had hits in the second game as Kindred won 12-6. Well and Nihill scored twice, while Schafer and Peterson tallied once each. Nihill went the distance on the mound as Jamestown fell to 2-5-1 on the season. They play at Devils Lake on July 2.
