National Guard members return from Afghanistan

Eight members of the North Dakota Air National Guard have returned after a six-month deployment to Afghanistan.

FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Eight members of the North Dakota Air National Guard have returned after a six-month deployment to Afghanistan.

Gov. Jack Dalrymple welcomed the members of the 119th Wing as they arrived at Fargo's Hector International Airport on Monday.

While in Afghanistan, the team processed and moved cargo and passengers at some of the Department of Defense's busiest aerial ports.
