Amateur baseball tourney starts here on Friday

The pairings are set for the Jamestown Merchants amateur baseball tournament.

The six-team tournament begins Friday with the Jamestown Elks taking on the Jamestown Tarnos at 7 p.m. at Jack Brown Stadium.

Four pool-play games will be played on Saturday, with placing games beginning at 10 a.m. Sunday. The championship game will be played at 2.

Detroit Lakes, Minn., the Merchants, Mayville Redcaps and Groton, S.D., round out the field.
