Ova, Behle speak at Toastmasters

Jamestown Toastmasters met on June 26. Toastmaster Anita Monek shared with some humorous, true and frightening thoughts and stories. She also shared some of her favorite episodes of “WKRP in Cincinnati.”

Toastmaster Anita Monek shared with some humorous, true and frightening thoughts and stories. She also shared some of her favorite episodes of “WKRP in Cincinnati.”

Speaker Masaki Ova shared how to play online poker and Texas Hold ’em.

Speaker Paul Behle persuaded the toastmasters to make the club better for themselves and for others.

Evaluators Bryan Jones and Melissa Goodrich gave feedback to Ova and Behle respectively on how well they spoke and any improvements they could make.

General Evaluator Bryan Jones shared his thoughts on the overall quality of the meeting and gave suggestions for overall club improvements.

Goodrich was the timer. Jones was the joke master and received the award for best speech evaluator.

Toastmasters will meet again at 6 p.m. July 10 in the basement of St. James Basilica. There will be a picnic and swearing in of officers
