When Geffre was in high school, he discovered woodworking. He built the kitchen table for his 10-person family in Mayville, N.D.
About a decade ago, Geffre rediscovered wood turning through pen turning. The first pen he made went to his wife. From there, He has turned almost 300 unique pens and pencils.
Geffre has also branched out to other types of “furniture for your fingers:” wine stoppers, super-strong refrigerator magnets, pizza paddles, simple crosses, bowls, lidded boxes, even a gear shifter knob.
His specialty is in pens and pencils. Geffre can make a writing utensil from almost any type of material; domestic and exotic woods, any antler, even soft stone like alabaster, even a corn cob.
