The Jamestown 12-U girls fastpitch softball team outhit Devils Lake 12-6, but fell one run short in a 14-13 loss Monday night.
The Jamestown 12-U girls fastpitch softball team outhit Devils Lake 12-6, but fell one run short in a 14-13 loss Monday night.
Courtney Peterson and Sydney Soulis each collected three hits in the game for Jamestown. Jade Schafer added a pair of hits, while Olivia Nihill, Morgan Well, Chloe Crabtree and Molly Fritz had one apiece. Schafer also scored three runs.
Devils Lake scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the sixth inning with two outs.
Jamestown is back in action on Tuesday at Valley City
