Pringle named deputy warden

Chad Pringle has accepted the promotion of deputy warden effective Aug. 1 at James River Correctional Center. Pringle was one of the original staff hired when the JRCC opened in May 1998. He started work as a correctional officer and was quickly promoted to correctional caseworker in October 1999. With the opening of two additional housing units Pringle was promoted to correctional case manager in May 2001. In April 2009 he earned another promotion to unit manager.

During his years of service with the JRCC, Pringle has taken on various duties to include core correctional practices trainer and Pitch the Ditch coordinator. He has received numerous letters of appreciation and thanks.
