JAMESTOWN, N.D. – The North Dakota Highway Patrol released the names of the four people involved in a head-on collision on Interstate 94 on Friday night.
Allison Deutscher, 36, Aaron Deutscher, 34, their 18-month-old daughter, Brielle, all from West Fargo, and 28-year-old Wyatt Klein, of Jamestown, died after their two vehicles collided Friday evening.
The accident occurred at 7:18 p.m. at mile marker 225 of I-94, about 33 miles west of Jamestown, according to the patrol report from Sgt. Tom Herzig.
A 1994 Chevrolet pickup driven by Klein was traveling the wrong way in the westbound lane of I-94, the patrol said.
The pickup collided with the 2009 Subaru Forester driven by Aaron Deutscher.
All occupants of both vehicles suffered fatal injuries at the scene.
Herzig said alcohol was a factor in the accident, as authorities smelled alcohol from Klein’s pickup.
