Rotary holds recent meeting

Quincy Backen opened last week’s Rotary meeting as the new president. He welcomed those in attendance. Darrell Losing gave the invocation, Larry Hoffman and Gina Dahl led the group in singing of patriotic songs and Carrie Oren collected numerous “Happy Dollars” for Rotary projects.

Quincy Backen opened last week’s Rotary meeting as the new president. He welcomed those in attendance. Darrell Losing gave the invocation, Larry Hoffman and Gina Dahl led the group in singing of patriotic songs and Carrie Oren collected numerous “Happy Dollars” for Rotary projects. Those who helped with Vespers were thanked. Backen asked members to be prepared to give a two-minute personal time. He will give the speaker an email prior to the meeting. He gave everyone a program schedule for the year as well as committee goals. Members were asked to meet in their committees and share their goals with the board.

Harvey Huber has today’s program, Jason Connolly has the invocation, Katie Andersen has the music and Rueben Liechty will be the sergeant at arms. Mill Hill cleanup is ongoing all summer. Members are asked to check their calendars and sign up.
