Norman hosts talk at Fort Seward

Visitors at Fort Seward tonight will have a chance to learn about the life of a soldier serving in the army in the 1870s. Keith Norman will make the presentation as part of the weekly Campfire Chat program held at 7 p.m. every Wednesday.

Visitors at Fort Seward tonight will have a chance to learn about the life of a soldier serving in the army in the 1870s. Keith Norman will make the presentation as part of the weekly Campfire Chat program held at 7 p.m. every Wednesday.

The program will touch on the day-to-day routines of soldiers as well as what they ate, where they went and what dangers they face.

The program begins at 7 p.m. at the picnic shelters on the Fort Seward grounds. It is moved indoors at the Fort Seward Interpretive Center in the event of inclement weather. The program is free of charge.
