Burgard wins 18-hole low putts

Evelyn Burgard was the winner of the 18-hole Low Putts contest as part of Hillcrest Ladies Day Association events on Tuesday.

Theresa Haag claimed top honors in the nine-hole contest.

Other winners were Coralynn Dallman (closest-to-the-pin on No. 17, longest putt on No. 9) and Jo Hallock (long drive on No. 4).

Mary Meyer (No. 5) and Dorothy White (No. 10) had recent chip-ins.

Haag won the May par drawing, while Cheryl Davis won the June par drawing.

There are no events July 17 as the North Dakota State Stroke Play Tournament will be held at Hillcrest on Monday and Tuesday with play beginning at 8:30 a.m.
