TRENTON, N.D. (AP) — The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a man and woman have been killed in a single-car crash about nine miles southwest of Trenton.

Troopers say the car was heading north on North Dakota Highway 58 about 5 a.m. Saturday when it failed to stop at a T-intersection at Highway 1804, ran off the road into a ditch and struck a sign. The car continued through the ditch, vaulted over railroad tracks and overturned.

The male driver was pinned in the car and the woman was ejected. Both died at the scene.

The patrol has not released their names or ages.
