A Buchanan, N.D., man was charged with DUI after a rollover crash injured two people Saturday night outside of Jamestown, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

The patrol said Michael Ambers, 30, Buchanan, was driving a 2001 Dodge Intrepid westbound on Stutsman County Road 40 when the vehicle went off the road about three miles east of Jamestown. The Dodge kept going in the north ditch until it hit an approach, vaulted and rolled before coming to rest on its passenger side.

The Jamestown Fire Department Rescue Squad extracted Ambers and his passenger, Nonnie Jasmann, 26, Jamestown. Ambers and Jasmann were taken to Jamestown Regional Medical Center with injuries and Ambers was then sent to Sanford, Fargo, by air ambulance. Both had worn seat belts.

Ambers was charged with DUI.

The Dodge sustained damage all over from the rollover.
