Gates of dam to remain open
The gates of the Ice House Dam will remain open until July 25 or 26, according to a press release from the city of Jamestown. The open gates allow lower water levels which are necessary for cleaning and repair of storm sewer outlets into the river.

The gates will be adjusted when repairs are complete.
The repair work has been approved by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and is required by the North Dakota Department of Health and North Dakota Water Commission.
