One person sentenced on felony charges
One person was sentenced on felony charges in Southeast District Court. Shane Robert Netterville, 18, 124 Sixth St. NW, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both charges are Class C felonies punishable by up to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine.

Netterville was accused of possessing synthetic cannabinoids and paraphernalia used to manufacture, prepare or test a controlled substance other than marijuana. Both incidents occurred around May 21.
On the possession of a controlled substance charge, Judge James D. Hovey sentenced Netterville to 30 days in the Stutsman County Correctional Center with credit for two days served.
He was also sentenced to undergo a chemical dependency evaluation, to not possess or own firearms for two years and to serve two years of supervised probation. A $400 criminal administration fee was waived by the court but he was ordered to pay a $100 defense/facility administration fee, $25 indigent defense application fee, $300 indigent recoupment fee and a $25 victim-witness fee.
Netterville was ordered to pay an additional $25 victim-witness fee as the sentence for possession of drug paraphernalia.
