Spanger joins DOT division
Denise Spanjer, from Edgeley, recently joined the Civil Rights Division at the North Dakota Department of Transportation. Spanjer will serve as a civil rights administrator and will have responsibility for on-the job training, disadvantaged business enterprises and the supportive services contracts.

Spanjer will serve as a civil rights administrator and will have responsibility for on-the job training, disadvantaged business enterprises and the supportive services contracts.
Before working at the NDDOT, Spanjer ran her own consulting firm, Capacity Solutions. She has also served as the coordinator for North Dakota Alliance for Renewable Energy, executive director of the North Dakota Small Business Association Women’s Business Center and was the director of education and youth activities for North Dakota Farmers Union.
