More than 5,800 antlerless deer gun hunting licenses remain after the North Dakota license lottery.
BISMARCK (AP) — More than 5,800 antlerless deer gun hunting licenses remain after the North Dakota license lottery.
The state Game and Fish Department said resident applicants who were unsuccessful in the first lottery can apply for the remaining licenses. People can begin applying online Monday, and paper applications will be mailed later this month.
Aug. 22 is the deadline to apply.
The deer gun season is from noon Nov. 9 through Nov. 25.
